Villa-Lobos Étude Day at Oberlin Conservatory

Each semester we focus on the concert studies of a specific composer. Everyone learns one to performance level and they are performed at the semester's end in a casual studio recital. Last semester we looked at the studies of Angelo Gilardino. This semester, the famous Etudes of Heitor Villa Lobos. NEXT semester, we will explore the studies of Francis Kleynjans.
Maxwell Lyman played Etude No. 11
Philip Lutz played Etude No. 12

Zhuoru (Simon) Lin played Etude No. 7

Sarah Boyson played Etude No. 1

Daniel Nitsch played Etude No. 8

Jacob Blizard played Etude No. 3

Crispin Swank played Etude No. 4

Leonard Renallo played Etude No. 2
In addition, Rebecca Klein prepared Etude No. 5 but was ill.

We look forward to exploring the Etudes de Concerts of Francis Kleynjans next season!
