Guest Artist: Rovshan Mamedkuliev Teaches in Oberlin

Last year's GFA first prize-winner, Rovshan Mamedkuliev taught a class for Oberlin students last night. In spite of his hailing from Russia (originally from Azerbaijan!), his English was excellent and his teaching was both insightful and eloquent.

Dan Nitsch played the Fugue from Bach's BWV998:

Simon Lin played Scarlatti's Sonata K11:

Crispin Swank played the Rodrigo Fandango:

Sarah Boyson played Albeniz' Mallorca:

And Max Lyman played the Prelude from Bach's Lute Suite BWV996:

The students were inspired!!
His recital is tonight.
